August 16, 2009 Ride
Hi all,
Muddy Waters was a success, with SWARM members riding in the 25k, 60k, and 100k rides.
This year we avoided the ditches.
To avoid the heat August 16, Jack, Bob and I thought 7 AM would be best. We are hoping to keep up some longer rides, 90k ± until the century ride.
The century ride will be Sunday September 6th. Our first ride was in 2002, so this will be the 8th annual ride. Please let me know if you are planning on riding.
See you all Aug 16, 7am at 7-Eleven

May 18, 2009 Ride
Hi,
We planning another ride Monday, May 18, 2009. Again we are meeting at the 7-Eleven at 9 am and riding south.
Roy
Introduction
This blog is for use by the SWARM (South Winnipeg Association of Riding Maniacs).
We are a group of road cyclists who meet every Sunday morning at the 7-Eleven at 1622 St Mary's Rd (at River Road) and ride South. Typical rides begin at 40 km - early in the season and increase to 70 - 100 km by September. This blog is to be used to notify riders of the meeting times, and to leave messages of who is planning to ride.
May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
The sun shine warm upon your face
The rains fall soft upon your fields
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.
